If you hadn’t noticed Mothers Day or Mothering Sunday is fast approaching, Sunday 26th March 2017 to be precise. Get some ideas for some lovely personal presents for that special lady in your life.
To help you a little bit we have made a gallery with a few ideas in from things that have been painted here in the studio over the last six years.
Out in the wider world there is always Pinterest to stimulate those creative juices. We have lots and lots of ideas on our page. Why not nip over for a look. Beware though you could get lost and be in there for an hour before you realise the time!
Love Your Mum but can’t paint?
If you are not the most artistic there is also the option of bringing your Mum into the studio for a lovely day out. In addition to the painting of pottery you can also get a delicious Hot Chocolate with all the trimmings and scrummy cake. *other hot and cold drinks are also sold!
Think that your mum would love to come along and paint something but your are not local and can’t get here to take her? Why not buy her some gift vouchers then she can come along when it suits her? Just give us a call and we can get them posted out for you.
Have you seen our lovely catalogue of silver keepsakes? Click over to our silver page to see some of the things we can make for you. The normal turnaround for silver is just one week however on the run up to a busy event like Mothers Day this might be a bit longer so be sure to be organised.
Finally getting organised this year!
Our first Me Time in January was a great success with some lovely items painted. The next few dates will be:
Thursday 23rd February 2017
Thursday 30th March 2017
Thursday 27th April 2017
Thursday 25th May 2017
We are happy to have play with clay on these nights but we do need to have at least five people interested to make it worth while whirring up the wheels! If you are want to know anything more about our evenings please give us a call and we will be happy to have a chat with you about it. If you pop over to our Facebookpage you will find lots of photos of everyones work.
Looking for something to do this half term? well why not come along to Razzle Dazzle Pots and spend a couple of hours together as a family. We have lots of pottery to choose from – something for everyone – girly things, boyish things, stuff for mum and dad and even grandad can get stuck in!
We are anticipating that it will be fairly busy, but we will have the upstairs studios open so there shouldn’t be a problem getting everyone in when you arrive. If we look packed when you arrive, do still come in, there may be plenty of room upstairs or we can let you know a rough time to return.
Half term is a hectic time for us all, so be patient with us and if we have forgotten your drink please give us a friendly reminder!
All of us here at Razzle Dazzle Pots would like to wish all of our customers a fantastic Christmas and New Year.
Please take note that we are closed for the first 13 days of January 2017. Open on the 14th January.
If you decide to come in to paint during the week between Christmas and New Year we will be open Wednesday 28th to Saturday 31st December 2016.
See you in the New Year.

Pokemon Go! Razzle Dazzle PokeStop
Pokemon Go, the latest gaming craze that is sweeping the world has arrived in the Uk and we have found out that we are a PokeStop. For those playing the game this is great news, for the rest of us we are scratching our heads and wondering what on earth is one of those.
We let me explain, Pokemon Go is all about getting players out of their bedrooms and living rooms and in to the big wide world to catch the Pokemon Characters for ‘real’. To catch them you need a special ball – a Pokeball. These are a consumable item that you need to restock up on the time. You can do that here at Razzle Dazzle Pots.
Once the novelty has worn off, however why not pop in to the studio and paint yourself something to remind yourself of this cool game. A Pokeball bauble for your christmas tree or a mug for your morning tea.
We like christmas so much at Razzle Dazzle we have decided to have an early Christmas Special. During the week commencing Monday 18 July through to and including Sunday 24 July, spend £15 or more on any Christmas item and receive a Christmas decoration (worth £8.00) completely FREE, lots of decorations to choose from!
What better way to relax and have fun and be so organised that when Christmas actually arrives, your ahead of the game!
Have you noticed our lovely planters at the front of our studio?
The actual boxes travelled all the way from across the road – yes they used to be the old green ones from World of Mowers. To say we have had our eye on them since we found out they were moving is an understatement. Planning permission for KFC was granted way back in 2013 and we have been
impatiently patiently waiting from them to move out so we could get our hands on them.
So as you will see KFC is on its way (depending on when you read this it will already be up and running past September 2016) and the nice man from World of Mowers brought our planters in the early hours of the morning, so that he could get across the road…. it is only 30mph but you wouldn’t believe it [but thats a whole other story] … Paul had been busy with the wood colour and we were then faced with the prospect of what plants to put in them.
Cue my bright idea of talking to a Garden centre to see if they would be interested in sponsoring them – they put the plants in and in return can attach some advertising boards to them. The lovely people at Brookfields have been along a few times for team building events here so they seemed like the ideal first choice.
The rest you might say in history. Check out the amazing plants. With all the rain I am sure they will be blooming in no time!
